About Us
Our Purpose
As Christians, our purpose is to provoke thought through Scriptual analysis and self-evaluation. We want to apply what the Word of God has to say to not only our mundane, day to day activities, but also to the big events in our lives and to those topics of conversation and situations that are often times, not as clear cut as we’d like them to be. Join us as we address the issues facing the Church and society through the lens of faith and biblical reason.
What We Believe
We believe in the Gospel of Jesus Christ – that He is the one and only Son of God who took our place and suffered the penalty of death for our sin by dying on the cross. We believe He did not stay in the grave but rose again on the third day and is sitting at the right hand of God. We believe He will be coming again to take us with Him to the place that He has prepared for us. In the meantime, we believe it is our duty to live out the Great Commission commanded by Jesus in Matthew 28:19-20 which tells us ” Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.” It is through this lens and this belief that we approach how we live and how we treat others as we attempt to showcase the love and truth of Jesus Christ.
What We Do
Who doesn’t love a good cup of coffee and great discussion? We like to keep things simple and go back to the basics of what we think God is telling us to do. While opening His word and enjoying one another’s company, we seek to tackle the intricacies and nuances of daily life from a biblical perspective while remaining civil and respectful of those with varying viewpoints, backgrounds, and experiences.

Ronnie (a.k.a. ‘The Beard’)
Driven by a deep curiosity and a constant desire to understand the complexities of life, Ronnie brings a unique blend of personal and professional experience to every endeavor. A U.S. Army veteran, Network Engineer, and Seminary graduate, he has navigated diverse paths, each contributing to his broader perspective.
Among his most significant accomplishments, Ronnie counts his realization of the need for Jesus Christ as his personal Savior. As a father to two daughters and a devoted husband of twenty years, he strives – though imperfectly – to lead, guide, and support his family with love, compassion, and integrity.
Ronnie views every aspect of life as an opportunity to build meaningful relationships and exemplify biblical understanding in all his interactions. His goal is to be a steadfast support to those around him, with the ultimate aim of reflecting Christ’s love and positively impacting the world.
Amanda
As the wife of the Beard, Amanda makes it a point to balance the scene as a sounding board and additional perspective for discussions. She and Ronnie have been married for two decades and have shared a tremendous amount of life experience in that time, both positive and negative. Amanda is a wife, mother, and martial arts instructor with more than twenty-five years of experience in teaching students of all ages. She is passionate about sharing the Gospel and discipling the next generation of youth.
